Carolyn Lee

Senior Associate

As director of KPMB’s Interiors Department, Carolyn Lee brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate, higher education, cultural, and hospitality design. She has worked on a diverse range of projects for clients such as Princeton University, The Globe and Mail, the University of Toronto, Gluskin Sheff, Oliver Bonacini, Collecdev, and Northwestern University.

Carolyn also played an integral role in the design of KPMB Architects’ office in Toronto’s Design District, which was featured in the June 2019 issue of Interior Design magazine.

Her project experience also includes the renovation and expansion of Toronto’s iconic Massey Hall, the Duan Family Center for Computing & Data Sciences at Boston University, the CAMH Temerty Discovery Centre, and a variety of global office designs.

Carolyn has a well-honed sense of interior design, space planning, materiality and detail, balanced with strong administrative capabilities. She has completed LEED-certified interiors that specialize in the selection of local materials and finishes, as well as FF&E with a concern for durability and life cycle costs.
