Irene Jackiw
Irene Jackiw brings a wealth of expertise and experience to KPMB built over her multi-decade career. Her passion for creating inclusive and accessible spaces leads to designs that enrich the human experience.
Recently, she co-led the team designing the interiors of Scotiabank North, a complex multi-phase project that gave one of Canada’s largest financial institutions a new flagship home and a global workplace strategy. Her commitment to understanding the vision and values of clients and users — coupled with her ability to develop customized solutions for spaces that are functional and creative — contributed to the project’s success.
Irene is also co-leading the design of a new corporate building in downtown Toronto and working as a senior interior designer on a portfolio of residential projects for Kindred Works, an organization re-imagining housing in Canada.
Irene has always been curious about how design influences behaviour — it’s part of what led her to interior design. Previously, she worked at TPG Architecture and NORR, where she contributed to multidisciplinary projects, from workplace and hospitality interiors to civic buildings.
Outside the office, she enjoys spontaneous road trips and hiking.
“Good design is inclusive and accessible; it should meet the diverse needs of the people who will use a space.”
