Last week, Cielo Condos at 300 Bloor Street in Toronto marked a major construction milestone: the 34-storey residential tower officially reached full height.

To celebrate, KPMB — represented by Marianne McKennaAdam Jennings, Rachael Law, and Sodeh Nikmanesh — joined Collecdev Markee and project partners, consultants, construction trades, and representatives of the Bloor Street United Church for a topping-off ceremony.

The event was hosted under the structural framing of the church’s sanctuary, which is being reimagined as part of the mixed-use development. Cielo Condos will introduce 349 new homes above the church, while also expanding its community gathering and worship spaces. A new four-storey pavilion will provide office, administrative, and collaboration spaces for both the Bloor Street United Church and the United Church of Canada.

“Cielo represents the kind of city-building Toronto needs right now,” said Collecdev Markee CEO Jennifer Keesmaat. “This project is delivering new homes, preserving important heritage assets, creating revitalized community space, and supporting skilled construction jobs.”

“By bringing together new homes, heritage restoration, and renewed community space, this project reflects the kind of city-building that will help Toronto continue to grow as an inclusive, livable, and connected city,” added Mayor Olivia Chow.

Cielo Condos is being developed by Collecdev Markee in partnership with Northam Realty Advisors, RBC, and Shiplake Properties. The project is expected to reach completion in 2027.
