Steven Casey to jury 2026 Interior Designers of Canada awards

Partner Steven Casey has been named a juror for the Interior Designers of Canada’s (IDC) 2026 Value of Design Awards (VODA). He will judge the Product Innovation category, which has recognized outstanding achievements in product and showroom design since 1984.
In his role, Steven will evaluate competing projects for excellence in problem-solving, strategy, sustainable performance, budget management, and marketing impact. He will be joined on the jury by Nadia Cannataro, principal at Large Medium Design Office, and Jaime Holland, founding partner of Holland Licensed Interior Design.
Steven has previously served as a juror for the Archello Awards and Fantini Design Awards, drawing on his expertise across sectors including workplace, education, and culture.
Since joining KPMB in 2002, he has contributed to many of the firm’s notable architectural and interiors projects. Recently, he led the workplace strategy and interior design for Scotiabank’s new global headquarters in Toronto. The 14-level office was recognized with a 2025 ARIDO Award, a 2024 SBID International Design Award, and a 2024 BLT Built Design Award.
Steven also played a leadership role designing the University of Pennsylvania’s Ronald O. Perelman Center for Political Science and Economics. The building received an International Architecture Award from The Chicago Athenaeum, an Award of Design Excellence from the OAA (Ontario Association of Architects), and a Best of Canada Award from Canadian Interiors.
