KPMB has been certified as an Ontario Living Wage employer.
The affordability crisis has made living on a government-mandated minimum wage untenable for many Ontarians. The Ontario Living Wage Network is a coalition of employers, employees, non-profits, and researchers advocating for wages that not only meet basic living expenses but also empower people to participate in their communities.
Over nearly 40 years of practice, KPMB has created places that are accessible to people of all socioeconomic backgrounds, including public art galleries, transformative green spaces, and dignified social housing. While KPMB has long offered competitive wages and championed salary transparency, becoming an Ontario Live Wage-certified employer is an extension of that ethos.
“Championing the importance of a living wage is one of the clearest ways we can act on our organizational commitment to equity and to the well-being of people,” says director of people and culture Laura Alexim.
