Every year, the Ottawa Regional Society of Architects (ORSA) invites the architects behind one of the city’s most notable developments to deliver a keynote presentation at its Annual General Meeting.

As Odenak reshapes Ottawa’s skyline, KPMB partner Bruno Weber, Two Row Architect principal Brian Porter, and Perkins&Will design principal Dan McTavish will co-present this year’s address on June 22.

Their presentation, “Designing for a Climate-Positive, Inclusive Future,” will share insights from Odenak’s design process and examine how the two-tower residential development integrates sustainable performance and social equity.

When completed in 2027, Odenak will introduce much-needed affordable housing to LeBreton Flats. More than 40 percent of units are designated affordable and will prioritize populations that have historically faced barriers to adequate housing, including Indigenous peoples, newcomers to Canada, and veterans.

Odenak is also slated to become one of Canada’s largest residential zero-carbon developments. It is targeting LEED Gold certification and is designed according to the principles of the One Planet Living Framework.

Tickets for the keynote presentation are free to all ORSA members.
