Monocle Magazine features Massey Hall in October issue

In Monocle’s October issue, Toronto’s historic Massey Hall was included in a round-up of the most noteworthy global performance venues.  Highlighting the spectacle of live performance, the story captures how architecture and design create memorable experiences for artists and audiences.  

Safeguarding the mystique of Massey Hall while ushering the venue into the future was achieved through an awareness for transformation. “The environment is important,” Marianne McKenna remarked to Monocle contributor, Tomos Lewis.“Every time you come, it’s different,” said McKenna, who was interviewed for the story alongside Massey Hall’s CEO Jesse Kumagai.
