Samantha Hart
For Samantha Hart, each morning begins by identifying and tackling the most challenging task of the day. It’s an approach that reflects who she is: a direct communicator, a diligent project manager, and an architect driven by a constant desire to learn and grow.
Since first joining KPMB as an undergraduate student in 2014 before returning in 2019, Samantha’s evolution into a firm leader has been characterized by her ability to connect with people — both those she designs for and works with — and her belief in the power of an aligned team. She partly credits her collaborative nature to her years as a competitive soccer player.
These vital qualities have made Samantha a natural leader within KPMB and a trusted partner to clients and consultants. Samantha has contributed to several of the firm’s most notable education projects, including the Duan Family Center for Computing & Data Sciences at Boston University and the Julis Romo Rabinowitz Building & Louis A. Simpson International Building at Princeton University. She is currently a key member of the project team for the Dramatic Arts Building at Yale University.
Samantha’s experience also includes Scotiabank’s global headquarters in Toronto, which she supported from schematic design through close-out.
With a broad skillset, Samantha often guides design decisions, manages project teams, and collaborates closely with consultants. She particularly enjoys construction administration: the phase where a project evolves from concept to reality.
Well-versed in BIM and digital practice, Samantha is a member of KPMB’s internal BIM Working Group and Standards & Processes Committee.
Samantha holds a Master of Architecture from the University of British Columbia, where she was recognized with the RAIC’s Student Medal. She completed her Bachelor of Architectural Studies at Carleton University.
