We have been following our clients closely, and are really proud of what they are sharing with their online communities. Here are some of the amazing virtual initiatives!
ART:
Our following clients have partnered with FIELD TRIP: Art Across Canada is a new online platform to deliver arts experiences with some of Canada’s most celebrated artists in a National partnership with leading arts organizations.
– Contemporary Calgary hosted one of the first sessions with artist duo @hermeticferns who provide a walkthrough on how to make your own hinged paper puppet of a praying mantis
– Remai Modern shared a tutorial by Lawren Harris on a pop-up card activity
– The Power Plant Gallery (TBD)
Contemporary Calgary
Has come out with two weekly challenges – Art where you are: #CCInstructionChallenge and #FourWordsChallenge
Gardiner Museum
– #GardinerFromHome: search their collection and research via the Gardiner eMuseum and Online Exhibitions
– Start Creating: make salt clay and colour the collection
Ottawa Art Gallery
Will be sharing artwork to help you unwind, reflect, discover and enjoy various pieces from the OAG collections digitally #OAGfromhome / #LaGAOàdistance
DANCE:
Canada’s National Ballet School
Is offering dance classes from your home
MUSIC:
Royal Conservatory TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning / Koerner Hall
Is hosting an Online Concert Series, which will feature weekly releases of previously live-streamed shows, as well as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra who is sharing IG Live performances by their musicians #TSOatHome
