On June 10, associate Roxane Bejjany will join a panel at the European Healthcare Design Conference at the Royal College of Physicians in London, U.K..

Bejjany will present alongside Dr. Michaela Cada, Chief Reinvention Officer at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), and Tim Eastwood, Senior Principal at Stantec. Their session, Research, Ideation and Exploration: A Collaborative Approach to Transforming Pediatric Hospitals, will explore the redevelopment of SickKids in Toronto, a joint venture between Stantec and KPMB.

The presentation will highlight how the team integrated engagement, prototyping, and interdisciplinary collaboration to design a flexible, human-centered hospital environment rooted in the principles of Precision Child Health. The team will also share insights into planning within a dense urban context while supporting evolving models of care.

Roxane has served as KPMB’s Project Architect and Design Lead for this project for over three years, helping to shape the vision for the future SickKids campus.
