On October 21, senior associate Rachel Cyr will offer insights into the state of the workplace at THE PLAN’s New York-based forum on architecture and design, Perspective USA. The panel is titled “Hybrid is Here to Stay: Society Evolves, the Market Also”.
Cyr will share insights into how employers can “earn the commute” in the era of hybrid work, touching on strategies for creating workplace flexibility, building robust internal cultures, and supporting the day-to-day wellbeing of staff.
The discussion will draw on Cyr’s 15 years of experience at KPMB. Recently, she served as the associate-in-charge for the design of a real estate firm’s corporate workplace in New York and as the senior team leader for Scotiabank’s new global headquarters in Toronto. The latter responds to the evolving needs of Scotiabank’s workforce and establishes a new workplace strategy for its global offices.
Last month, Scotiabank North won a 2025 workplace award from the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO).
Perspective USA is part of Archtober, New York City’s annual month-long celebration of architecture and design. Alongside Rachel, “Hybrid is Here to Stay” will feature speakers from Brent Buck Architects, HWKN, Kostow Green Architects, PBDW, and Stonehill Taylor.
