On June 8, KPMB’s volleyball team kicked up sand at Woodbine Beach for the 2025 Heatwave for SickKids fundraising tournament.
Competing against 30 teams, our team took home silver, making their way through round-robin and playoff matches with grit, teamwork, and plenty of sunscreen.
The Heatwave tournament raises funds to support the SickKids Foundation, and this year, we contributed $1,500 to help advance care, research, and education at the hospital.
KPMB team:
Shannon Stewart, Molly Adams, Jason Chang, Dulat Sargaskayev, George Tabi, Joseph Jan Yip Choy, Tyler Loewen, Armine Tadevosyan, Arian Hussainzada, Lydon Whittle, Angela Gou, and Kushal Bhat.
A big thank you to everyone who supported KPMB on and off the sand, and congratulations to the team for their outstanding performance and commitment to giving back!
