On May 25, the KPMBallers laced up their sneakers and hit the court at YZD, the site formerly known as the Downsview Airport lands for a day of basketball, camaraderie, and purpose. Competing in support of Sinai Health’s Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute (LTRI), our team brought energy, focus, and heart, on and off the court.
The KPMB team raised $3,088 in support of cutting-edge medical research at Sinai Health, helping to fund breakthroughs in cancer, diabetes, neurodevelopment, women’s and infants’ health, and more. Special congratulations to Jason Chang, Philippe Dibon, Ki Oh, Lydon Whittle, Dulat Sargaskayev, and Kinan Hewitt for their efforts on the court. Their performance placed them in the top 10% of all competing teams, a testament to their teamwork and grit.
