On Saturday, May 27, we’re opening up our doors for you! Every year, for one weekend only, architectural practices across the city welcome the public into their spaces for free and treat them to guided tours, special exhibits, and incisive talks as part of Toronto Society of Architect’s Open Studio program during Doors Open Toronto.
The Open Studio program is a chance to see some of the faces — and spaces — behind the city’s most historic, architecturally diverse, and culturally relevant sites.
Our King East office (secured, renovated, and designed for 110 people in under a year!) is a true reflection of who we are and how we work. We’re excited to welcome you into the space where our team works creatively and collaboratively, hosts townhalls and guest talks, and celebrates holidays.
There’ll be kids programming and a behind-the-scenes look at some of our well-known projects, including the award-winning Massey Hall Revitalization Project, a perfect example of this year’s theme for Doors Open Toronto — “City of Sound.”
Visit us on Saturday, May 27 on the 12th floor of The Globe and Mail building, located at 351 King Street East.
And on Sunday, May 28, hear principal Robert Sims speak about the role sound plays in designing a space at the TSA Architects Talk from 2-3:30pm at Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema.
