Claudia Cozzitorto discusses digital innovation at Autodesk University

KPMB director of digital practice Claudia Cozzitorto will discuss the role of open standards in driving innovation in architecture at Autodesk University on September 17.

Part of the three-day annual global conference happening in Las Vegas, the panel “International Perspectives on Open Standards and Adoption” features Claudia and other representatives of international chapters of buildingSMART, a global non-profit organization promoting better collaboration and digital workflows in the built environment, with a focus on championing open international standards.

The panel will explore how government mandates and industry initiatives are accelerating global openBIM adoption and how buildingSMART is developing tools that improve interoperability. The panellists will also offer advice on implementing open standards for data accessibility and efficient collaboration, while discussing practical skills and strategies for upskilling.

Claudia will be joined by Calvin Kam, chapter president of buildingSMART USA; Eric Bugeja, chair of buildingSMART Australasia and director of buildingSMART International; Najib Adouane, vice president of buildingSMART Morocco; and Jugal Mawkana, senior business development executive at Autodesk.
