Next week, partner Bruno Weber will present at the 2025 Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) Conference alongside Brian Porter of Two Row Architect and Dan McTavish of Perkins&Will. Their session, “Designing for a Climate-Positive, Inclusive Future,” will explore the transformative vision behind Odenak—a landmark urban development in Ottawa.

This project reimagines how cities can support people and the planet at once. With a target of LEED Gold certification and alignment with the Zero Carbon Building Standard, Odenak proposes a future where low-carbon urban living meets deeply inclusive design.

The session will highlight the collaborative process behind Odenak and its integration of Indigenous values, community-focused amenities, and climate-positive design strategies. Porter, Weber, and McTavish will unpack how the project balances regenerative sustainability with equitable housing solutions and pedestrian-first urban mobility.

They’ll also speak to how Indigenous stewardship and cultural integration have shaped the project—showing how reconciliation and climate action can meaningfully intersect in architecture and city-building.
