Francesco Valente-Gorjup received his Master’s degree in Architecture from UCLA, graduating with honours. Prior to obtaining his degree, he had interned at KPMB for two years, and re-joined the practice in 2017 after six years working as an Architect for Herzog & de Meuron in Basel and Hong Kong. During that time he was in charge of the façade design and construction of the M+ Museum of Visual Culture in Hong Kong. He was also involved in other major international projects including One Park Drive in London, the Conrad Hotel in Washington, and the Complexo Cultural Luz in Sao Paulo. Francesco has also interned at Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Genova, Italy and Johnston Marklee Architects in Los Angeles. Francesco has been a guest critic at UCLA, UofT’s Daniels School, Chinese University and HKU in Hong Kong.
