Senior Associate Brent Wagler joined KPMB Architects in 1997. His early projects were key university commissions at the University of Toronto, McGill University, and Trinity College in Hartford. He was an instrumental member of the competition design team for the TIFF Bell Lightbox for the Toronto International Film Festival and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Several of Brent’s projects involve the revitalization and expansion of heritage structures, including the Canadian Museum of Nature that showcases the original 1915 heritage building through the juxtaposition of contemporary architecture and the Global Centre for Pluralism, Ottawa. In recent years, Brent was the associate-in-charge of the Bay Adelaide Centre East Tower, a 47-storey, LEED Platinum-designed office tower in Toronto’s Financial District, and workspace design for a private equity firm in Toronto, comprising four years in its creation. Brent was also the project architect on KPMB’s award-winning office interiors at their new location at 351 King Street East.
Currently, he is involved with the University of Toronto’s Landscape of Landmark Quality project for Pavilion design and construction document coordination, and on two corporate office design projects in Hong Kong and Chicago.
