Rachel Cyr

Senior Associate, NCIDQ, ARIDO

Rachel Cyr joined KPMB Architects as a designer in 2011, and has contributed to a diverse range of the studio’s notable academic, corporate and institutional projects.

Her projects have included the offices of Gluskin Sheff & Associates in Toronto and the Fort York Branch Library, as well as the Governor General’s Medal in Architecture-winning Julis Romo Rabinowitz Building and Louis A. Simpson International Building at Princeton University. She served as the associate-in-charge of the corporate workplace design for a New York City headquarters of a real estate firm, and contributed to the renovation of Robertson Hall at Princeton University.

Committed to developing timeless projects, she is driven by enduring materials, climate-sensitive solutions, and collaboration. For the Bay Adelaide Centre North Tower (BAN) in Toronto’s Financial District, Rachel is a senior leader for the team leading the workplace design for Scotiabank’s new space, a key part of the bank’s downtown campus that will be home to its Global Banking and Markets and Wealth Management divisions.
