Saturday, October 21

8:30 AM Civic Ceremony The official opening of Remai Modern will kick off with a ceremony to celebrate the opening of the building. The event is free, open to the public and will be held out front of the main entrance at 102 Spadina Crescent East. Please join us and dress for the weather!

8 PM Opening Night Party This social event, offers after-hours access to exhibitions, live programs, food and drink.  Stine Janvin’s headline-performance is at 10:30 PM. Galleries will be open from 8–10 PM.

10 AM–6 PM The KPMG & Rawlco Radio Free Admission at Remai Modern Opening Weekend will give visitors access to the inaugural exhibition, Field Guide, and special programming throughout the building. While admission is free, tickets are required.

1–5 PM Maria Hassabi’s live installation, STAGING (2017)—undressed

Remai Modern is situated on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis. We pay our respects to First Nations and Metis ancestors and reaffirm our relationship with one another.
