The John Molson School of Business (JMSB) is a new teaching and research building that forms part of Le Quartier Concordia, the university's new downtown campus.

For this project architects and user representatives conducted an extensive tour of the top business schools in North America to study different classroom typologies and develop templates for JMSB teaching spaces. Numerous design review sessions resulted in a strategy that adapts a variety of typologies to accommodate the diversity, ethic and idealogical teaching styles of JMSB faculty. The result is a 'brand' through inclusivity for JMSB.

The design anticipates future change and growth in organizational structure, enrolment, and technologies, as well as fosters connectivity and the exchange of ideas. Stacked atria join floors, while shared lounge and glass fronted meeting/study spaces are strategically positioned adjacent to the atria to encourage connectivity and interaction.
