Hall joined KPMB Architects in 1989, and has demonstrated a commitment to innovation, high standards of execution and craftsmanship in all aspects of his design work.
He has worked on a number of KPMB’s early Governor General award-winning projects, including Kitchener City Hall, Woodsworth College* at the University of Toronto, and the Design Exchange, the former Toronto Stock exchange that was transformed into an exhibition and event space for design.
Hall was the KPMB associate-in-charge of the Cardinal Ambrozic Houses of Providence*, a long-term care facility designed to transform the institutional environment. He was also the associate-in-charge of the internationally acclaimed Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate Winery that merges contemporary wine-making technologies with an authentic architectural response to the agricultural region of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and the McGill University and Genome Quebec Innovation Centre* in Montreal. In 2005 he completed his role as design associate for the Celia Franca Centre*, a dance training facility for Canada’s National Ballet School. Additional recent projects include the Mike & Ophelia Lazaridis Quantum-Nano Centre at the University of Waterloo, and the Health Sciences Waterfront Campus* for Toronto’s George Brown College.
His current projects include the new Science and Academic Building* at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta and the Phase 1C Redevelopment* of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto.
He was made an Associate in 1995 and Principal in 2011. He has been a guest critic at various academic institutions including the University of Toronto, McGill University and Ryerson University.
